Introducing the new playable character in Pokemon Uranium: Pluto!

One of the very first questions that trainers starting their Pokemon journeys are asked is, “Are you a boy or a girl?” But for Pluto, the answer to that question has always been, “Who cares?”

Pluto is the third playable character in Pokemon Uranium, in addition to the current protagonists Vitor and Natalie. (Of course, their in-game names are chosen by the player; these are just how we developers refer to them). For players who are feeling limited by the number of choices currently available, or simply want more aesthetic options for their character, they will be able to pick an in-game avatar that represents them better.

In the next major game update, players will be able to select them as an option when starting a new game. We want Pokemon Uranium to be inclusive and accessible to everyone!

Ah very good idea, a character whose gender is up to the player's interpretation. This wouldn't have worked in Kalos though with the clothing shops, unless you can buy anything you want.
